CASEY ANTHONY'S JAILHOUSE PHONE CALL TRANSCRIPT

It was a really emotional day in the Casey Anthony murder trial.  And the person who suffered the most was definitely Casey's mom, Cindy Anthony.  We all watched helplessly as she sobbed during the playing of the 911 tapes (see previous blog entry).  It was a very sad, sad day indeed.

PROSECUTION INTRODUCES CASEY'S JAILHOUSE PHONE CALL TO HER HOME

After the 911 tapes were played, the prosecution introduced another important audiotape - a recording of Casey's jailhouse phone call to her home on the night she was first arrested.  With this call, prosecutors showed Casey's state of mind as of July 16th, 2008 at 11:16pm.

During this call, Casey is rude to her mother, brother and friend Christina.  And unlike everyone else, Casey's main objective was to get her boyfriend's phone number.  Everyone else's main objective was to find Caylee.

CASEY ANTHONY'S JAILHOUSE PHONE CALL (TRANSCRIPT)

Preface:  This call originated from the Orlando County Correctional Center, and was a collect call from Casey to the Anthony home on Hope Spring Drive. An automated greeting requested that the receiving party (Anthony home) to press 0 to accept charges.  After hearing that the 0 was pressed, the call was put through.  Here is a transcript of the call.

CINDY: Casey?
CASEY: Mom!
CINDY: Hey sweetie.
CASEY: Well I saw your nice little cameo on TV.
CINDY: Which one?
CASEY: What do you mean which one! (Casey is angrier now)
CINDY:  Which one? I made four different ones and I don't know, and I haven't seen them all, I've seen one or two so far...
CASEY: You don't know my involvement is and stuff?
CINDY: Casey...
CASEY: Mom! No!
CINDY: Casey I don't know what your involvement is sweetheart. You're not tell me where she's at.
CASEY: Because I don't fucking know where she's at! Are you kidding me!
CINDY: Casey, don't waste your call...to scream and holler at me...
CASEY: (talking over Cindy) No!... Waste my call oh sitting here in, oh the jail where the bums are.
CINDY: Who's fault is it you're sitting in the jail. Are you blaming me that you're sitting in the jail?
CASEY: It's not my fault
CINDY: What do you mean it's not your fault sweetheart? If you had told them the truth, and not lied about everything, they wouldn't have...
CASEY: Do me a favor and just tell me what Tony's number. I don't want to talk to you. Forget it.
CINDY:  I don't have his number
CASEY: Well then get it from lee. I know he's at the house cuz I saw Mallory's car was out front.  It was just on the news, it was live out in front of the house.
CINDY: I know they were.
CASEY: Well?...well? Can you get Tony's number for me so I can call him.

Lee: Hey?...
Casey: Hey. Can you get me Tony's number.
Lee. I...uh, I can do that but I don't know what real good it's going to do ya at this point.
Casey: Well I'd like to talk to him anyway. Because I called to talk to my mother and it is a fucking waste.  Oh and by the way I don't want any of you to come up here when I have my my first hearing for bond, and everything else.  Like, don't even waste your fucking time coming up here.
Lee (getting agitated): You know, you're having a real tough, you're making it really tough for anybody to want to try to, even if it's to give you a phone number...
Casey:  It's just that every single...
Lee: You're not even letting me finish, like I'd really...
Casey says: Go ahead.
Lee: First you're asking me for Tony's phone number so you can call him and then you immediately want to start cussing towards me and saying don't even come up here and trying to cut us out
Casey: I'm not trying to cut anybody out.
Lee: I'm not going around and around with you, you know, that's pretty pointless. I'm not going to go through, not going to put everyone else through what you've been putting the police and everybody else through for the past 24 hours. And what you've put Mom through for the last 4-5 weeks.  I'm DONE with that. So, you can tell ME what's going on. Christina would like to talk to you because she thinks that you will tell her what's going on. Frankly, we're going to find out. Something, whatever is going on, it's going to be found out. So why not do it now...
Casey: There's nothing to find out. There's absolutely nothing to find out.  Not even what I told the detectives.
Lee: Well...you know...everything...
Casey interrupts: I have no clue... if I knew where Caylee was, do you think that any of this would be happening?
Lee: Anyways, you only have a couple of minutes, so I'm not going to let you waste it. Here's Christina. She thinks she can get through to you...
Casey yells at her brother: No NO! I want Tony's number!  I'm not talking to anybody else!

Christina gets on the phone: Hello?
Casey: Hi, I'm glad everybody's at my house (she says sarcastically), I'm going to have to call you later or I'll have to call somebody to get your number. Do me a favor, get my brother back, because I need Tony's number.
Christina (surprised): Ok...um... is there anything I can do for you?
Casey: I'm sitting in jail. There's nothing anybody can do for me now.
Christina: Well, I'm just trying to...
Casey: Oh, I know you are honey, I absolutely know you are and I appreciate everything you're trying to do but I'd like to call Tony.  He's not at my house, is he?
Christina: No.  It's just me and your parents and Lee.
Casey: Ok, can you do me a favor and get my brother back, or get the number from him please.
Christina (sounding confused): Um... does Tony have anything to do with Caylee?
Casey: No, Nothing.
Christina: Ok, so why do you want to talk to him?

Casey: Because he's my boyfriend and I want to actually try to talk to him, because I didn't get a chance to talk to him earlier because I was arrested on a fucking whim today. Because they're blaming me for something I never would do, that I didn't do.

Christina: Ok, well I'm on nobody's side.. I'm on your side.
Casey: Oh honey I know that. I want to talk to Tony to get a little bit of ...
Christina: Casey, you have to tell me if you know anything about Caylee...
Casey: Sweetheart...
Christina:  If anything happened to Caylee Casey, I'll die! You understand? I'll just die! (Christina starts to cry) You understand... I'll die if anything happens to that baby.

Casey (agitated now): Oh my god!  Calling you guys a fucking waste. Huge waste. Honey,  I love you. You know I would never let anything happen to my daughter. If I knew where she was, this wouldn't be going on.
Christina: Well how come everybody's saying that you're lying?
Casey: Because no one fucking listens to anything I'm saying. The media completely misconstrued everything that I said. The fucking detectives told them fucking bullshit. They got all of their informaiton from me, yet at the same time, they're twisting stuff. They've already said they're going to pin this on me if  they don't find Caylee. They've already said that. They arrested me because they said that ...
Christina: Yea, they said that the person that you dropped Caylee with doesn't exist.
Casey: Because oh look, they can't find her in the Florida database. She's not just from Florida.  If they would have actually listen to anything that I would have said to them, they would have their leads, they maybe would have tracked her down. They haven't listened to a fucking thing that I've said.
Christina: Do you know that, that, whoever has Caylee, nobody's going to get away with it. Nobody.
Casey: I know nobody's going to get away with it, but at the same time, the only way that they're going to find Caylee is if they actually listen to what I'm saying. And I'm trying to help them and they're not letting me help them.

Christina: So how can I help them find her? The best thing you can do baby...
Casey: They need to look up her information in the New York database... a North Carolina database, other places she's lived outside of Florida. That's what I told them even again TODAY!  I told them that four times today. I sat up at the police station, at the county police station...

Christina: Is she the one who has Caylee or did she give Caylee to someone else?
Casey (getting angry): Honey! I don't know! I haven't talked to her.
Christina: How come everyone's saying that you're not upset, that you're not crying? That you show no care over where Caylee is at all...
Casey: Cuz I'm not fucking crying every two seconds. Because I have to stay composed to talk to the detectives, to make other phone calls, to do other things. I can't sit here and be crying every two seconds like I want to.  I can't!
Christina: Ok Casey, don't yell at me. I'm on your side.
Casey: I know you're not... I know you're on my side.
Christina: Nobody's saying anything bad about you.  Your family is with you 100%.
Casey: No they're not! Bullshit because I just watched the fucking news and heard everything that my mom said. Nobody in my own family is on my side.
Christina: Yes they are.  Nobody has said...

Casey (interrupting):  They just want Caylee back.  That's all they're worried about right now, is getting Caylee back... and you know what... that's all I care about right now.

Christina: Casey, your daughter, your flesh and blood, your baby girl ...
Casey interrupts: Christina please, put my brother back on the phone. I don't want to get into this with you right now.  I love you honey and I'm glad that you're there, thank you for your help.  I will let you know if there is anything you can do.

Christina: You can't tell me anybody that can find Caylee?

Casey: No every number that I've tried, every number is disconnected. Nothing. I can't get a hold of anybody.
Christina: But that girl was the last person to have her?
Casey: She's the last person to have her. That was the last time that I saw Caylee.
Christine: Ok.  Lee says he doesn't have Tony's number.
Casey: Yes he does, he has it in his phone, he's got to stop fucking lying.  He just told me a second ago that he'd give me the number.
Christina: So if I go and I get you Tony's number, are you going to finish talking to me?
Casey: I, I will call you tomorrow. I want to talk to him really quick.  I haven't slept in four days.  I have not slept in four days.

Christina: Listen, if you're going to talk to anybody, you can talk to me.
Casey: I know I can talk to you, but at the same time I want to talk to Tony, and that's who I want to talk to right now.  I haven't had a chance to talk to him this morning before all this stuff happened, with trying to set up the MySpace, I made the MySpace.

Christina: Do you know the password to MySpace?
Casey: I made all of it!
Christina:  What's the password for the MySpace, so we can see if anybody has written any leads as to where Caylee might be?
Casey:  You can go online and see it!  As for messages, i don't  know if anybody's going to be messaging stuff.  The password is cays234. And it's caseyomarie@yahoo.com  cays234 is the password.

Christina: Hold on a second.
Lee: Hold on a second.
Christina: Ok, um, Tony's number is 631- 902-5443. Can Tony tell me anything?
Casey:  Baby, Tony doesn't know anything. I haven't talked to Tony since this morning.
Christina: Tony hasn't seen anything?
Casey: Tony hasn't seen Caylee since the beginning of June.  What was the number again?
Casey:  Leave your number at my house with my mom so I can get it and I can either call you later on tonight...
Christina:  How can I get a hold of you?
Casey: I'm at the jail, you can't!

Christina: How can I find out more information about that girl?
CASEY:  Have them look up a New York license for Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.  They've just been looking up the last name Gonzalez or the last name Fernandez. If they looked up her entire name, they might actually find her.  They haven't done that. They haven't listened to ANYTHING that I've said.
Christina:  How do you spell Zenida?
Casey: Z..E..N..A..I..D..A.
Christina: ZENAIDA Fernandez-Gonzalez

Christina: Where does she live?  Because they went and looked at her place...

Casey interrupts: Christina! Baby, you're not telling me anything I don't already know. Again, I've only been in jail since about OH, ABOUT, 8:30 tonight. I was with them all day today. I was with officers pretty much since 9 o'clock last night. Up until today, like up until this evening, when I came up here.

Christina:  But you're telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  Because they'll find...
Casey: About that I don't have a clue as to where my daughter is? Yeah that is the truth; that's the absolute truth.
Christina: They'll find out, and whoever has...
Casey:  Ok Christina, I'm hanging up now. I need to make this other call before I forget the numbers.  I'll call you later.
Christina: Ok.
Casey: Bye!
Christina: Bye.

### End of tape

As the tape played for the jury, Casey Anthony sat stone-faced as she stared at the computer monitor on the defense table.  She showed no emotion, nothing.  Cindy Anthony on the other hand, still seated on the witness stand, cried several times as she listened to the call, now realizing that everything Casey was saying were lies.

  1. She has some serious mental issues. I was listening while her mom thought all of these people she was friends with were real... none of them were. Almost as if she were in a fantasy world. Strange girl...

  2. Actually I just watched the show the other night about Aileen Wuoros and I think at times she showed more emotion after she commited a crime than this one has. Her tears are so fake she is a terrible actress and it is only day 6 and if I was a juror I would have to say Guilty!!She is all about herself and looks at her Mother with evil eyes probably the same evil eyes her little baby had to see. She is a Monster!!

  3. Monster doesn't quite cover what Casey Anthony is, she's a soulless demon from hell. A mother is supposed to protect her child, even animals have that instinct, Anthony has no right to be called a mother.

  4. Can't any of you people see what is happening here? How many of you KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE A CHILD?
Yes, Casey acted differntly Than Most of you think She SHHOULD have acted, but, SHE WAS IN SHOCK. Yes, she knows what happened to her daughter but.... She (Casey, DID NOT KILL HER)You need to look at the FATHER (GEORGE) Casey knows how Caylee died, She knows she knows WHO is responsible, THE FATHER, that very SAME FATHR who is FORKING OUT $1,000,000,000.00 for the defense attorney.the FATHER and the BOYFRIEND are BOTH involved. Consider the following to be the truth and NO DO NOT EVER DOUBT IT! Casey and her boyfriend FOUND Caylee in the Back yard. George gave Caylee Chloriform, after he saw she had too much and she died, he placed her in the pool to make it look like an accidental drowning, he then realized that the Medical Examiner would DETECT Chloriform in the child and removed her from the pool and placed her in the back yard by the playhouse. The father ( ANTHONY ) is a person of MORE THAN interest here. WHat role did the BOYFRIEND play in this? Casey is STILL IN SHOCK over the death of her daughter, She Needs to be HYPNOTIZED to release those HIDDEN Memories you will be surprised how many memories can be Blocked in a person with so many emotional problems. (Yes, she has MOTIONAL PROBLMS) Who is she protecting? How many times was CHLORIFORM used on CASEY when she was a Child?

  5. I believe you have a lot of mental health issues for believing the garbage your spewing. Maybe somebody hypnotized you into believing her lies and coming up with zanier theories than Baez. I hope you get help. Her, she's way beyond help. Not guilty? A jury that wanted absolute proof because they wanted to go home early. In reality, not innocent for sure.
